Ganache Frosting

Preparation - 2 hours

Ingriedients

semisweet chocolate morsels- 1.5 cups
heavy whipping cream - 1/2 cup
butter (room temperature )- 1/2 stick
vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp

Method:

melt the chocolate in double broiler and pour it in a mixing bowl

In the mean while , boil the whipping cream

Pour the whipping cream in the mixing bowl

mix the chocolate and cream using rubber spatula

Mix vanilla and stir. The Ganache is ready

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill for an hour

Bring the Ganache to room temperature. It might take 1/2 an hour for this.

whip butter in a large bowl till it is fluffy

Add Ganache and whip till the color of mixture lightens and soft peaks are formed

The icing is ready
